Customer Success Manager

THE ROLE

iAffiliate Management is looking for an experienced Customer Success Manager to oversee projects within our affiliate marketing practice. This position is a client-facing liaison and has responsibility for leading client relationships including deliverables, account strategy, and execution. This role is based in our Minneapolis office, however, relocation packages will be considered for qualified candidates.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Services and Communications

  • Serves as the main point of day-to-day contact for the client
  • Works to understand the client’s brand and marketing goals
  • Develops strategic plans and tactics to reach client’s objectives
  • Nurtures client relationships

Account Strategy and Execution

  • Prioritizes execution tactics to align with the client’s goals
  • Proactively makes recommendations
  • Oversees efficiencies across all deliverables

Reporting and Analysis

  • Oversees all account reporting and communicates performance
  • Provides recommendations to clients based on data-driven insights
  • Analyzes data to find opportunities or trends

Publisher Opportunities

  • Acts on relevant publisher development opportunities
  • Creates and develops new publisher relationships

Team Leader

  • Trains and develops associates by leading their efforts to successfully execute effective marketing campaigns
  • Supervises associate activities, manages workloads and delegates tasks while ensuring successful and timely execution on deliverables

 

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

In 6 Months

  • Executing the day-to-day operations of multiple affiliate programs with little guidance
  • Has formed strong relationships with key client contacts and are the main point of contact for clients’ strategic and account questions
  • Managing challenging client situations with guidance from a superior
  • Regularly analyzing client data for optimization, activation, and recruitment campaigns

In 12 Months

  • Assuming accountability for the performance and success of their clients
  • Has maximized account efficiencies with excellent strategic plans and communication in place
  • Clients are being serviced profitably

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-8 years of online marketing, e-commerce, or affiliate marketing experience required
  • Direct affiliate marketing experience (in-house, agency, network) required
  • Knowledge of the major Affiliate Networks (ShareASale, CJ Affiliate, Rakuten, etc.) required
  • Bachelor’s degree required

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Ability to travel
  • Advanced spreadsheet knowledge including formatting, formulas, customizing reports, etc.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, a plus
  • Previous experience managing and motivating direct reports, a plus
